Colin McFarlane has been elected as the new Chairman of Runnymede and Weybridge Conservative Association for 2023-24.
He is a Weybridge resident of 25 years and volunteers as an ambulance first responder, since retiring from his career in business development and project management.
Colin was appointed at the Association's AGM on 30 June and succeeds Neva Novaky, who he thanked for her energy and dedication to the role.
His immediate challenges as Chairman will be to grow the local membership and continue the momentum of fundraising to ensure the local party is in good shape to fight the next local elections and General Election.
Colin will also preside over boundary changes which will see Oatlands, Virginia Water and Englefield Green move to neighbouring constituencies, and Cobham and Oxshott joining Runnymede & Weybridge. He will be assisted by a strong and experienced team.
