Max Darby has come age as our candidate for Woodham & Row Town, having previously grown up locally and attended Fullbrook School in the ward.
If he's elected on Thursday May 5, he will set a powerful example to current generation of Fullbrook pupils of what is possible with determination, courage and hard work.
Max has set out three priorities for elected office: 1) Tackle anti-social behaviour to ensure the community remains a safe and welcoming place to live; 2) Support local businesses and assist jobseekers; 3) Help local families with the cost of living by keeping council spending in check.
He says, "I want to work with colleagues at Runnymede Council to get more bins throughout our community and to renew older infrastructure. It's important that we support local business and work together to build on our excellent community spirit by backing brilliant initiatives like the community hub at Holme Farm."
Max adds, "No other party can offer the same commitment or cooperation in council as the Conservatives, to make our community greener, cleaner and safer."
Cllr Nick Prescott, leader of Runnymede Borough Council says, "Max can bring his understanding of the local issues facing residents to tackle the key challenges the council faces on housing and climate change."
