Hollie Bolitho is the Conservative candidate for Egham Town at the 2022 Local Elections.
She lives locally and spends a lot of time in the town centre, giving her an appreciation of the efforts of local businesses.
Hollie says, "I am proud to be a resident in a town with such a strong community spirit. Each week, I do my shopping on the same high street and see how hard local businesses work. I see the litter, crime and anti-social behaviour and want to do something about it - and that is why I have put myself forward for Council."
Hollie's top three priorities if elected are: 1) supporting and enhancing the community - including increasing the range of facilities at Egham Orbit. 2) Engaging with residents and helping to foster between relations between Royal Holloway students and the community, and 3) delivering safe walking and cycling routes around Egham.
She is also keen to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour (including littering) which are issues that come up regularly on the doorstep.
Cllr Alex Balkan, an Egham councillor, says, "Hollie is an enthusiastic campaigner who enjoys helping residents to resolve issues. She will be a great asset to our councillor team in Egham."
Hollie is also keen to see the roll-out of electric buses and improved recycling in Runnymede.
